Description

The Service Manager oversees key day-to-day operational functions of the Presbyterian Night Shelter, including security, purchasing and supplies, basic IT support, donations sorting, payroll coordination, and agency fleet management. This position ensures these functions operate safely, efficiently, and in support of the agency's mission.

The Service Manager provides leadership to assigned Operations staff and must possess and maintain qualifications as a Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer.

Qualifications

      Two years of operations and supervisory experience required.

      Must have strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

      Basic knowledge of computers and workplace technology.

      Experience in security, nonprofit, shelter, or residential operations preferred.

      Must be able to remain calm under high stress and communicate effectively with guests, staff and volunteers.  

      Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations.

      Must have valid Texas driver license and proof of liability insurance.

      Must possess or obtain and maintain required Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer credentials.
