Pet Dental Clinic is hiring an experienced, Veterinary Technician to join our INCREDIBLE team!
We created the Pet Dental Clinic, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner to offer pet parents an alternative solution for the everyday dental needs of their cats and dogs. By concentrating our care on the treatment of dental and oral disease in pets, we help release day-to-day pressure on local general practice veterinarians. In many ways, we are like a general dentist who provides teeth cleaning, dental X-rays, preventive oral care, and basic tooth extractions for humans.
Role Responsibilities:
The Practice Leader is responsible for the general management of the veterinary practice ensuring overall success while meeting benchmarks. In addition to their primary job responsibilities (as a veterinary technician), tasks include reporting, payroll processing, hiring, and employee supervision.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
- CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred
- Superior/advanced technical skills
- Has 2 years of supervisory experience (in a veterinary clinic setting)
- Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
- Possesses a positive work attitude
- Self-motivated
- Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills
