We are seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney for a unique public law firm that handles government work privately through competitive bidding. They're not your typical law firm - they focus on meaningful public sector work that actually impacts communities.

This Labor & Employment role offers $140k-$220k (flexible not lockstep) with 1850 billable hours and the chance to work on diverse public sector matters while building your career in a supportive environment.

Duties
- Provide legal advice to public sector and private clients with respect to employment and traditional labor matters.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings related to employment disputes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, settlement agreements, and other legal documentation.
- Conduct legal research on relevant legislation, case law, and industry developments to inform case strategy.
- Assist clients in compliance with employment legislation and best practices to minimise legal risks.
- Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining meticulous records of all proceedings and correspondence.

Requirements
- Qualified attorney specialising in labour and employment law with a minimum of three years’ experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex legislation and case law.

- Demonstrated commitment to professional development within the field of employment law.
