Role Responsibilities:

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Maintain a clean and safe kennel area
• Walk patients, clean and refresh bedding
• Assist in stocking treatment area and rooms
• Assist technicians, assistants and DVMs in day-to-day flow
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Experience & Skill Requirements:

• Animal Handling/Husbandry experience strongly preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Commitment to working within a team environment
• Positive, will-do attitude
• Team player with flexibility
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to multi-task in a busy work setting
• Professional demeanor and outgoing personality
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $17-$18 an hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
