Description
The Placer County Health & Human Services Department (Human Services Division) is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to serve as Deputy Director. Reporting to the Director and/or Assistant Director, this executive will lead the department’s largest division - overseeing 261 funded positions and an annual budget of approximately $61 million - while guiding critical programs that support the well-being and self-sufficiency of our community, including CalFresh, Medi-Cal, Employment Services, CalWORKs, Veterans’ Services, and housing assistance. This is a pivotal opportunity for a seasoned, collaborative leader who thrives in complex environments, brings steadiness and rigor to decision-making, and fosters trust and shared accountability across diverse teams.
