As a Quality Control Manager I in the Flood Insurance Quality Control team, you ensure commercial loan activities comply with flood insurance requirements, partnering with operations and compliance teams to remediate issues and strengthen controls.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control reviews to confirm adherence to flood insurance policy and FDPA requirements across loan originations and servicing.
- Verify flood zone determinations and property location accuracy for Special Flood Hazard Areas.
- Validate insurance coverage, deductibles, and insurer eligibility meet policy and regulatory standards.
- Ensure borrower communications and disclosures are accurate, timely, and retained per policy and audit standards.
- Deliver accurate compliance reviews under time constraints, prioritizing cases based on business impact and risk.
- Manage throughput to achieve daily SLAs and production targets during peak volumes.
- Flex across processes and cross-train to support shifting business priorities.
- Use standardized checklists and procedures to maintain completeness and reduce rework.
- Execute time-boxed QC reviews and produce audit-grade workpapers, escalating issues as needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to read and interpret complex documents and insurance policies for compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Creative problem-solving and sound judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and leverage internal resources.
- Strong client focus and ability to collaborate with internal groups.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of FDPA requirements and Interagency Flood Insurance Q&As.
- Experience in risks and controls, compliance, regulatory, or quality oversight.
